News Corp. Raises 2010 Income Forecast

CHICAGO -- News Corp. Chief Financial Officer Dave De Voe said Wednesday that the company now expects fiscal 2010 operating income to be up by a high-single digit to low double-digit percentage above the adjusted 2009 total. In August, the company had predicted a percentage increase in the upper single-digit range. De Voe commented during a conference call. News Corp. owns MarketWatch, the publisher of this report.
