Wolseley Three Month Revenue Drops 13%

LONDON -- Wolseley said Wednesday that revenue from continuing operations in the three months to Oct. 31 declined 13% to 3.4 billion pounds, or 20% in constant currency, while trading profit from continuing operations fell 41% to 104 million pounds, a 46% drop in constant currency. Market trends and trading performance remain in line with management's expectations set out in September, the firm said, adding that it expects market conditions to remain challenging.
