FMC Corp. Names New Chief Executive Officer

NEW YORK -- FMC Corp. said Friday that it named Pierre Brondeau to serve as chief executive officer, succeeding William Walter, effective Jan. 1. Walter will remain chairman of the diversified chemical company until he retires on Oct. 1. Brondeau, 52, retired in September from Dow Chemical Co. .
