Baxter Swine Flu Vaccine Gets EU Nod

Baxter International (BAX) is following in the footsteps of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Novartis (NOVN) in getting their Celvapan vaccine for H1N1 flu approved, the company announced on Wednesday.
The European Medicines Agency recommended the vaccine last week, and Baxter said that initial units of the drug have been shipped to countries including the United Kingdom.
