Where Does Prince Charles Get Off Decrying Capitalism?

There are few things more annoying than a millionaire socialist -- hearing someone condemn capitalism after they’ve already banked their million.

The only thing worse is a billionaire socialist. Folks like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez make this list.

And now add to it Britain’s bonnie Prince Charles. Earlier this month the prince gave a lecture in which he blamed capitalism and consumerism for bringing the world to the brink of collapse and declared that the “age of convenience is over.” He warned that the world has just 96 months to avert "irretrievable climate and ecosystem collapse, and all that goes with it."

Now here’s a royal brat who has spent his life wanting for nothing and being waited on hand and foot…and he’s lecturing the rest of us about consumerism? If the prince is so much against the age of convenience, let him carry his own frigging bags like the rest of us. Let him fire the dozens of servants and parlor maids he has waiting on him 24/7. Let him and his family sell off their billions in real estate and the jewels that they stole from colonies around the world.

This is a guy who’s indulged in anything he ever wanted, and he’s got the nerve to tell us that the days of convenience and capitalism are over?

No, Chaz, the days of royalty are over!

Thank God our revolution put royals out of business. And thank God for a free market that usually rewards folks for the work they do, rather than the banalities they speak.
