MidSouth Bancorp to Issue $30 Million in Shares

MidSouth Bancorp. Inc. (MSL) shares fell 5% in morning trading Friday.
On Wednesday, The holding company of MidSouth Bank N.A. and Lamar Bank announced it would sell as much as $30 million in shares to fund potential future acquisitions.
MidSouth expects to sell its common stock in an underwritten public offering with Howe Barnes Hoefer & Arnett, Inc. acting as sole book running manager and Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc. and FIG Partners, LLC serving as co-managers
