Friehling Pleads Guilty To Madoff Fraud: Report

SAN FRANCISCO -- David Friehling, the longtime accountant to convicted financier Bernard Madoff, told a federal judge in Manhattan he is pleading guilty to charges related to his participation in a multibillion dollar Ponzi scheme, The Associated Press reported Tuesday. The judge questioned Friehling, who was expected to enter the plea, before deciding whether to accept it, according to the AP. Friehling faces a maximum of 108 years in prison and is reportedly cooperating in a bid for leniency.
