Credit Agricole Upped To Buy At Deutsche Bank
By Steve Goldstein
MarketWatch Pulse
LONDON -- Credit Agricole was upped to buy from hold at Deutsche Bank ahead of the French lender's results after the close of trade. "Our work shows the worst is over: State capital has been redeemed and the investment banking restructuring is ongoing. This leaves the bank more exposed to activities with strong growth potential: the main business is now asset gathering while consumer credit growth may remain very strong thanks to recent acquisitions, which is not reflected in the consensus," the broker said.
