FRANKFURT -- Mexico's central bank decided on Friday to keep its benchmark interest rate unchanged at 4.5%. The decision was in line with market expectations. Earlier this week, Mexico posted benign inflation figures, with the annual rate at a lower-than-expected 3.2% in the first half of November. In recent trading, the Mexican peso rose 0.7% against the U.S. dollar.
