Alliance Trust Appoints Finance Director

LONDON -- Alliance Trust said Thursday that it has appointed Alan Trotter as its new finance director. Trotter will join the group in early 2010 and will become a member of the board of directors. Trotter is currently group corporate development director at Legal & General .
