Stocks In Focus For Tuesday

SAN FRANCISCO -- Shares expected to see active trade in Tuesday's session are Hormel, Heinz, Barnes & Noble and Hewlett-Packard.
Hormel Foods Corp. (HRL) is expected to report fourth-quarter earnings of 68 cents a share, according to a consensus survey by FactSet Research.
H.J. Heinz Co. (HNZ) is projected to report second-quarter earnings of 70 cents a share.
Barnes & Noble Inc. (BKS) is forecast to post second-quarter earnings of $1.18 a share.
Borders Group Inc. (BGP) is likely to report a loss of $1.25 a share in the third quarter.
Tivo Inc. (TIVO) is expected to post a loss of 6 cents a share in the third quarter.
Warner Music Corp. (WMG) is forecast to post earnings of 4 cents a share in the fourth quarter.
Medtronic Inc. (MDT) is expected to post second-quarter earnings of 74 cents a share.
Dollar Tree Stores Inc. (DLTR) is projected to report earnings of 66 cents a share in the third quarter.
J. Crew Group Inc. (JCG) is likely to post earnings of 58 cents a share in the third quarter.
American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) is forecast to report earnings of 22 cents a share in the third quarter.
Zale Corp. (ZLC) is expected to post a loss of $1.96 a share in the first quarter.
After Monday's closing bell, Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ) reported a fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $2.4 billion, or 99 cents a share, compared with a profit of $2.1 billion, or 84 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Revenue was $30.8 billion, down from $33.6 billion for the same quarter the previous year. Adjusted income was $1.14 a share. Analysts had expected the tech giant to report earnings of $1.13 a share, on revenue of $30.4 billion, according to a consensus survey by Thomson Reuters. Read more about H-P quarterly earnings

Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) reported its fiscal fourth-quarter net income fell to $105.6 million, or 36 cents a share, from $143.9 million, or 49 cents a share, in the same period last year. Revenue fell 13% to $572 million, the semiconductor company said. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters had estimated Analog Devices would post fourth-quarter earnings of 26 cents a share and $523.8 million in revenue.
