International Game Technology Names New Chairman

NEW YORK -- International Game Technology said Thursday that it has named Philip Satre to serve as its chairman, effective Dec. 1. The gambling-equipment maker said that Satre will replace T.J. Matthews, who will step down as chairman but remain on the board. Satre has served on IGT's board since January 2009 and also serves as chairman of Nevada Energy Inc.
