JOHANNESBURG -(Dow Jones)- Harmony Gold Mining Co. (HAR.JO), one of Africa's largest producers of the precious metal, Wednesday said it has stopped blasting at its Tshepong mine following an early morning rockfall in which a mineworker was killed.

Investigations by mine management and the Department of Mineral Resources have begun, the South African company said.
