CHINA NPC: Wen: Managing Inflation Outlook Challenge To China, World
Dow Jones Newswires
BEIJING -(Dow Jones)- China Premier Wen Jiabao said Sunday managing inflation expectations is a challenge to policy makers around the world, including China, amid the economic recovery.
Wen cautioned the trend of the global economic recovery may reverse as risks exist for it to falter.
There is still a long way to go before China completes the restructuring of its economy, he said.
Wen reiterated the government's stance that it will work to promote stable domestic economic growth, restructure the economy and manage inflation expectations. He said China will work to prevent any reversal in the trend of domestic economic growth.
Wen made his remarks at a news conference following the end of China's 10-day session of the National People's Congress, China's legislature.
