Cavuto: No Sign of Relief in Russia-Georgia Conflict

Missed tonight's Cavuto? Catch "The Deal" right here on FOXBusiness.com

Here's the deal: This Russian-Georgian thing is still a big deal.

    And it ain't going away.

Not when President Bush announces he's rushing in aid to Georgia.

The same day Russia says it has no intention of leaving Georgia.

The same day the president of Georgia says the U.S. will take control of airports and ports in Georgia.

The same day the Pentagon furiously says we're intending nothing of the sort in Georgia.

Georgia on everyone's minds...and each with a distinctly un-like minds on where it stands, and where it's going.

    Here's what we know now:

Russian forces have entered Poti...home of a key oil facility that churns out 100,000 barrels of the vital black stuff to much of Western Europe. Nothing's been hit. But we know no oil's getting out.

Here's what we also know...Russian forces have been rounding up scores of what it calls "residents of interest."

Georgians say that's polite-speak for ethnic cleansing.

    We don't know.

    This much we do...

    The ceasefire talk has ceased.

And even the French are fried.

Their hastily cobbled peace accord apparently fizzling by late this afternoon.

And now reports the Russians, who say the Georgians started this...were cyber-attacking Georgians days before this.

    Curious. Weird. Worrisome.

And for us, reminders all...what happens in Georgia likely won't "stay" in Georgia.

    Stay tuned.
