The typical day for an inmate at the Metropolitan Correctional Center:

    6:00 AM - Lights on

    6:30 AM - Breakfast

7:45 AM - Work call (if they are designated to MCC to serve their sentence. This does not apply to pre-trial inmates)

    11:00 AM - Lunch

3:30 PM - End of work day (see remarks for 7:45 AM)

If an inmate is not working he/she may recreate on the unit by watching TV (installed in common areas only), play table games such as ping pong, attend educational programming (GED and other classes), work on their legal case, read material provided by the library, etc. They are provided with an opportunity for outside recreation every other day.
