Think about this:
He scammed the smartest guys in the room.
Even the folks who were supposed to guard the room.
Forget about Congress lamely attempting to find someone to blame today.
Isn't the better question how you could avoid repeating any of these mistakes any day?
Oh, and if only it were for all those foundations and charities and Wall Street fat cats -- turned decidedly less fat cats, after getting allegedly skimmed and schemed by one Bernie Madoff.
The man who took in the likes of athletes and actors to Wall Street wise men like Mort Zuckerman and Henry Kaufman...all without the SEC noticing, or even leery banks and brokerages warning.
None of that was answered today.
Just a lot of chest-thumping today.
By a Washington transfixed with shifting blame.
Only to discover that the shift has already hit the fan.
And a whole bunch of folks are smelling pretty bad in this.
