Lee's Coffee Goes International
Comtex
HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam, Aug 08, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ ----Lee's Sandwiches, the largest Vietnamese sandwich franchise chain in the United States, unveils their first international Lee's Coffee in Vietnam, on this great day of fortune and prosperity of 08/08/08.
In a major partnership with the Korean-based pastry company, Deli Manjoo, Lee's Coffee is opening in the Central Business District 1 of Saigon, Vietnam.
The 100-seats Lee's Coffee occupies the 5-story corner unit on Ham Nghi, one of the busiest streets in Saigon. The menu features Lee's famous ca phe sua da, the Vietnamese style French pressed coffee. The extensive beverage line includes a variety of flavored sugar cane juices, smoothies, blended juices and Italian sodas. The glass display cases are filled with fresh pastries, cookies and fresh fruits.
The Deli Manjoo counter is a sight to be seen! The pastries are made with molds encased with corn shaped molds filled by two tubes, one for the outer cake and one for the cream filling, and rotated around to an oven underneath. Within one rotation the pastries are ready - fresh and hot. The aroma and taste will seduce and win over any customers.
Lee's Sandwiches started in San Jose in 1983 and revamped their concept by adding European sandwiches along with their famous Vietnamese sandwiches, "banh mi" in 2001. Within 7 years, Lee's Sandwiches has grown to 36 stores domestically in California, Arizona, Texas and Oklahoma.
Lee's Coffee concept has a more exclusive menu than the original extensive menu that of Lee's Sandwiches, and focuses more on their coffees, beverages and pastries. The coffee beans are from Vietnam, but the coffee itself is made in America and shipped to Vietnam to ensure the distinct Lee's Coffee taste many have grown accustomed to.
The targeted customer base for this store is the business district employees and international travelers, savvy consumers who are interested in international-quality product and experience.
Lee's Coffee and Deli Manjoo plan on expanding this concept and opening locations in Korea, China, Taiwan & Japan in the near future.
Lee's Coffee is located on 80 Ham Nghi, District 1, Saigon, Vietnam. Doors open at 8:00 am. For more information, please visit us at www.leescoffee.com.vn

No, it's not a dance craze. Contago is a condition of supply and demand, essentially a fancy word to say that prices for items, typically commodities, are cheaper now than they would be at some point down the line.
Anything that¿s sold in the futures market can be in a case of contango. Futures are exactly that: a contract to buy an item or asset at a price in the future. This is the case with oil, with traders buying and selling contracts to acquire a barrel of oil in months down the line. When a market is in contango, spot prices, or the price of a commodity if you were to buy it right now, are lower than forward prices.
Why is that important? Well, it usually tells you the supply of a given commodity is plentiful (since, according to Economics 101, a large supply usually leads to cheap prices).
Incidentally, if you think contango is a mouthful, its opposite condition is known by the equally tongue-tying term backwardation.
