By Polya Lesova

FRANKFURT -- France's business sentiment index was 89 in November, unchanged from the previous month, according to the monthly business survey by the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (Insee) released Tuesday. That was below market expectations for a rise to 91. "Business leaders' opinion on their past activity continues to improve near its long-term average," Insee said in a statement. "Stocks of finished goods remain rated inferior to their long-term [average], while order books, total and export, are still considered as very low."
