Public Option Making its Way to Baucus Bill?

" Taking its entrance into the baucus health care bill today as the controversy continues. Over the public option and a slew of other sticking points. We're now possibly talking about the public option making its way into the baucus bill and house bill making its way to the floor next week."

" That's right and when you look at the pockets bill we always expected at least if the finance committee. Were to consider the baucus bill which it's doing right now it would be up for an amendment there are hundreds of amendments here that at least one of them. Would include an amendment that would create a public option. On the pockets bill now it's not clear as to whether that would pass in the finance committee but remember elections -- does. Not pass the finance committee there's still a possibility. That it could pass in the broader senate or it passes the board does not pass the broader senate. There's still a possibility that it can be brought up in the conference between house in the Senate and still put it there are many stages right now -- a public option could be attached. Two of the baucus plan if it does come out of the senate finance don't of course and outside. Either trying to get a move -- forward on a bill full house passage of this bill. As quickly as possible I have speaker Nancy Pelosi has been speaking about. Putting her own version out some changes to the bills that had been discussed before the congressional break this summer."
