" The Baltimore Olympic passage Kurt Warner is probably the world's most famous grocery store clerk he'd be incredible odds. To become a two time NFL MVP and -- suitable to global MVP. He's doing big things off the field as well he his wife Brenda. Stay busy helping disadvantaged children in families and somehow they still find time to raise seven kids how they do it the answer is -- new book. First things first rules of being a Warner I spoke with -- Brenda Warner short time ago. Okay guys new book her tell us a little bit about what inspired you to write the book -- that you're involved in writing the book as well."
" Yeah actually happened and we were spending a week in New York last year between games and now somebody wrote an article. About stuff outside of football by our family. About raising seven kids in in the midst of the NFL and the response from the article was tremendous -- number of people that -- just after the season and just said. It would like to do book about you -- those same sort of things -- relationships. Raising kids it in knowing him and how that all fits in with the NFL and we thought what a great idea for us to share our story and so that's how it says that's out all we have."
" What's it like living with -- Super Bowl MVP. And VP of the NFL a couple of times I mean -- heads so big it's it's tough to get through the door. Ergo there he's not allowed that to even think that way because you can come to seven kids and we have a five year old that we'll tell immediately who lost the game how many interceptions he threw. Puts him right in his place and then basically it's just that. And you know one years it's in the book that one -- he was going to get man of the year. And he's all dressed in attacks they -- and I give my hard time who make humanity year he and you out wipe out some. -- Off the window that there are little boy head finger payment and that made -- man of the year in my eyes so it we have ways to put them all in perspective."
" Now -- tell you married an experience that right that is a variety of Las Vegas. You know I'm not so sure she was -- marine she continues to tell me that but she's completely different now for at least from what I envision a -- to -- but. You know yeah I was a great part of her life she tells me stories all the time but. You know when she she -- order me around a little bit she's -- she's drill instructors sometimes I think with the kids lined them up and given to do certain things so. Guess that is the -- become an honor so so let me get this straight go to play game on Sunday you get get your car come back home and got seven kids that just want that -- times."
" Done exactly and they don't mean like football none of them really like football. Because when they see daddy they see the bruises they see the difference. You know -- healing process of bruises or just aches and pains and you know they just want that they just want him to be -- play in Russell and so they don't like football they just are ready for him to love on them so that's."
" Currently we have a ton of sports fans I'd be -- remiss not to ask you about acts that. But overnight it in Tampa this past year was one of the best football games I've ever seen not because it was a super ball because it was one of the best football games of -- Just take us through your mind when you through that 64 yard touchdown pass to wait for still lit up the middle. He thought he had a game one didn't you."
" Well I mean I think there was you know for second bears that you allow that to come in your mind you know two and a half minutes ago you're finally eating in the -- want to be behind the whole game. Yeah I -- I was going crazy amount over there and everybody's like -- the super ball. And I was still a little bit -- because I've been there before the united in those situations where two minutes is a lot of time and you know I wanted to celebrate I wanted to go nuts I wanted to believe we were going to win but. As you see what can happen in two and a half minutes when you when he has agreed football team. They come back and make some plays but it was exciting for a few moments to think that the Arizona Cardinals the last we're two minutes from me in --"
" I gotta tell you some -- I thought you had it at of those who wanted this is going to good as one of the best rides and history before the final drive half half -- thinks -- the book -- I learned some things to eat at one point your career -- bags groceries groceries would those who. What what took you through that and I its."
" One of those things that I think we've all had moments in our life where you know our dream doesn't quite. Pan out exactly like we go -- so you have to take on some -- do something else along the way. While you're trying to you know get your footing and get to where you want to be and that's what the supermarket was for me is that. You know couldn't find a job couldn't find anybody that would give me an opportunity to play. But I still had that dream so you know there was a short stint there were actively job working nights at a local grocery store. To help pay some bills and bring in a little bit money while I was waiting for someone to help you -- my --"
" So what do. Brenda let's talk about first things first the title of book also the name of -- the foundation charity got to put together what do you do with that. Well when -- got up on that podium after that Super Bowl win and said first things first he put it all out there of how he wants to live his life and we believe it strongly in her relationship with with and god with Jesus and we put things in priority from there and so. Our foundation basically figures out ways to love on people and -- Necessarily reinvent the wheel or change the world NA in a big way that may be one person at a time so we do. We work with make a wish who -- good habitat for humanity we work with people that hat I have like minds and want to just trying to make a difference in this world and -- so it's an honor to be able to have a foundation that I don't get the celebrity thing so. I I don't get into that but we get open doors to be able to make a difference in people's lives."
" Achieve great -- you he had the spotlight yet stardom what you take time to make sure it is working we know what that's the greatest part of it is that a lot of people think it's."
" The money the fame or you know whatever notoriety might -- being on the big screen but for us the greatest opportunity has been to meet people along the way that we've had a chance to. To impact your life -- assumption of some form and you know a lot of times were able to run to meet a practical need. But more importantly we build relationships and that's what we know is that five years from now -- is going to remember who played in this great Super Bowl over what I did in my career. But I guarantee of five years from now those people that we've had an opportunity to tell us we'll never forget that and that's what we want our legacy of."
" Last question does that they ask you destroy whole night Bruce or a leg up early removal of you know take your pick I'll I'll I'll go to war with either one of -- do most you know I've just been forced to deploying some great receivers and added the most politically correct answer I've ever. -- How can I pick between those four receivers for Hall of Fame receivers and you want me to try to pick -- and -- lift its failure -- initiated. I read books go first things first curtain Brenda Warner thanks yes they should Jonas Americas thanks a lot thank you."
