" you're our guy is the president's pledge to weed out earmarks an impossible promise to keep. Let's welcome representative Michelle Bachmann she is a Republican from Minnesota good to see you -- represent them. Live without it's great to be with you thank you -- you wonder is that even realistic to say no pork and I'm not sure that's what the president was saying he says that he will look at projects that seem outrageous but. About it no pork bill would that ever be a reality. I think it is possible I -- pledge in my own district. I have not taken earmarks in the last three years that I've been in congress because the system is so corrupt it's possible to make that pledge as a matter fact. Senator -- and Barack Obama made that pledge that he was going to be against earmarks we applauded him for that pledge and unfortunately. He's just probe that he's. Going back at his word he's not doing bad in here is sign this bill with almost nine. Thousand earmarks Major Garrett said seven point seven billion this is a horrendous bill and I think it is disingenuous to say that your against earmarks and then sign a bill that we'll have that will fund LP is -- what do you think about the fact that 45% of the air marks are from your party the Republican Party. And maybe he's just doing a little politics here -- giving some air marks to at least nearly half. To the Republicans there and then going forward it'll be a clean slate. I think that troop politics that the president could have done with haven't offered to just wipe the slate clean and have no earmarks that would be the better way to gulf. I'm not defending earmarks I'm not defending Republicans were asking for earmarks because I didn't do that. I do think it would have been a very strong message if Republicans would have said no where where -- word not going to take earmarks what would happen then is that money would have been spent but it would have been a 100% Democrat earmarks I think we need to have a moratorium we need to sit down together figure out what is the right way to fund local projects and a meritorious manner. And then let's get in her room do it right in an open transparent process. And then we can really do the people's business this is not the right way to fund those -- it must be so frustrating for you who for three years you say that mean you have not floated any earmarks and and we've certainly applaud you for that but that. Nobody's following are very few people are following your lead that's got to be frustrating and do here I'm interested about this to hear their constituents are saying wait a minute. Other states are putting forth the stuff we're not getting -- Well there are people that have a divergent opinion in my district that we did a poll and 65% of the people thank me for not doing air marks we just -- phone call back in my district today spoke to people again about this. They thanked me for not doing earmarks. They hear about these wasteful projects they know I'm on their side they know I'm fighting for them. But what they're more worried about than anything list right now. Is where is our economy going to call will we be losing jobs they're they're terribly worried about this out of control spending that they seen under Barack Obama they feel that it's a very fiscally irresponsible bit nervous and so they appreciate the fact that I want to be fiscally responsible for them. And and looking forward let's talk about what a new spending plan would look like -- do you believe do you give President Obama. They sort of the the benefit of the doubt that he will start going line by line through these things and and jettisoning the ones that are absolutely outrageous. I think right now unfortunately President Obama has a bit of a credibility gap because his word. Was that he was not going to take the day he was not quite accept your marks and here was his first opportunity. To make good on that promise he broke that promise. He also said we would have five days the public -- at five days to miss the -- of bill. Before we have to ask sign that vote on it. And we were given the stimulus bill over a trillion dollars in spending. And not one member of congress had the opportunity to read the bill we couldn't even read it so he's been breaking promises that he made to the American public and that hasn't troubled while still pretty high in the polls will be watching at all representative thank you very much for coming back on fox business. Live anytime."

several billion dollars at least to begin with now we are in Seoul South Korea . On the last stop of the president's Asian tour. North Korea's nuclear ambitions is obviously the number one item on the agenda here. But the president also plans to try to finish negotiations. With South Korean leaders on a pending long standing South Korean free trade agreement that he inherited from the bush administration and coincidentally. One of the outstanding issues. In that negotiation. Is access to the South Korean car market for US car manufacturers. They get back to. Peter thank you said.
