“[President-elect Trump] has a massive agenda which he needs to get through Congress if he’s going to be successful,” he said. “I want to help on the outside, coordinate those activities and make sure that people who are with his agenda have a voice and make sure that we can encourage those people in Congress to move his agenda forward.”

Lewandowski is forming the firm with Barry Bennett, who also briefly advised the Trump Campaign and helped broker the meeting between Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim and Trump.

Lewandowski said the role he’s created from the outside will drum up the movement created during the campaign.

“As [Trump’s] agenda continues to move through Congress we want to make sure the American people can continue to be heard, that, that voice can be brought to Washington to say we want fundamental and wholesale change because that’s what we voted for,” he said.
