A new streaming service offers free tunes for select phones. RadioShack and Cricket team up to give customers a great price for pre-paid wireless service. A project on Kickstarter offers a sleek new keyboard for iPad. And a new app for the iPhone promises to make even a rainy day bike ride a lot of fun.

Streaming Music from Nokia

Nokia’s free streaming songs service, aptly named Nokia Music, is now available for music lovers stateside. Playing songs from more than 150 different playlists, the service has no advertisements and doesn’t require a subscription. It’s available online and offline, and lets users build their very own playlist based on favorite songs and artists. Just select a tune and Nokia Music figures out similar sounds to help you build a songlist. Another great feature – Gig Finder – which finds live concerts nearby. Those who have Nokia Lumia phones, models 900 and 710, can download the app from the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Unlimited Data at RadioShack

Electronics retailer RadioShack (RSH) and wireless provider Cricket Communications are teaming up to offer a wireless service without a contract. The no-contract service is offered with two phones – the Huawei Mercury Ice and the Huawei Pillar. The Ice is available exclusively at RadioShack for the month of September, selling for just $149.99. Included in the $50 per month unlimited data plan are unlimited song downloads and ringtones from Muve Music. The Huawei Pillar sells for just $39.99 with plans starting as low as $25 per month. Two additional phones offered through the pre-paid service are expected by the end of the month.

Tablet or Laptop? You Decide

If you’ve ever wanted an easier way to type a quick email on your iPad, there’s a great new and affordable solution from the folks at Crux. Their new case, called the Cruxskunk  is also a full-sized QWERTY keyboard. It connects to iPad or iPad two with Bluetooth. If you pledge to back the company on Kickstarter, you’ll receive your own CruxSkunk, plus its own leather sleeve that also fits an iPad and a USB cord to charge the keyboard’s battery, which, at 350 mAH, only needs to be charged once per month. Check it out at Kickstarter.com.

Biking via iPhone

Debuting at the latest EUROBIKE 2012, the KICKR Power Trainer from Wahoo Fitness connects to a training app on your iPhone, allowing you to increase or decrease resistance across various simulated bike trails so you can create your own private spin class from your living room. From flat terrain to coasting down rolling hills or up a 15% grade, the stationary bike provides an on-the-road feeling and the ability to monitor speed via your iPhone app. The new KICKR Power Trainer is headed reportedly to the US later this fall and pricing is still TBD.
