Great Gadgets for Less and Giving by Giftly

Amazon Kindle Fire

Welcome to OnSale at FOXBusiness, where we look at cool deals and insane bargains.

It's a shopper's delight: great bargains abound at Amazon, Best Buy and Apple. Roku finds a new home while Wal-Mart and T-Mobile make a deal. And check out a new website that makes gift giving easier for all involved.

Gadget Price Cuts

Amazon (AMZN) introduced its Kindle Fire last week, adding a full-color touchscreen to its repertoire of Kindle e-readers. The device, set to be released Nov. 15, costs $199, and is now available for pre-order.

For those who’d rather stick to e-ink should definitely check out other great deals from Amazon. The Kindle Touch is a full-screen, touch-controlled e-reader available with Wi-Fi for $99 and 3G for $149. It’s set to ship Nov.21 but can be pre-ordered by clicking here.

And an all-new Kindle, with a six-inch screen and built-in Wi-Fi, sells for $79. Click here for product details.

Another great deal for those seeking a new tablet comes from Best Buy (BBY).  The retail giant has slashed the price on BlackBerry’s (RIMM) PlayBook by $200, making the 16 GB version just $299. The PlayBook has a seven-inch screen with Wi-Fi Adobe Flash and HDMI output, and the 32GB version is now $399 while the 64GB version is $499. Choose yours here.

Apple (AAPL) has lowered prices on its iPod music players. The 16GB iPod touch is now $30 cheaper at $199, while the 32GB version is $299 and the 64GB model is $399. The 8GB iPod nano is now $129 and the 16GB version is $149. The tiny 2GB iPod shuffle, a favorite for those who frequent the gym and local running trails remains at $49.

New at Target

OnSale told you about the latest in streaming entertainment from Roku--and now the Roku 2 XS and the XD streaming video devices are available at Target (TGT). The prices are still $100 and $80 respectively, and are also on the shelves at Best Buy, Fry’s, and Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT)stores.

4G, No Commitment

Also at Wal-Mart: 4G cellular phone service without a contract. The company teamed up with T-Mobile to launch a $30 unlimited data and text pre-paid 4G service. That means no annual contract, with the first 5GB at up to 4G speeds. The deal only offers 100 minutes of talk, with a $0.10-per-minute charge for every additional minute. Custom Cards

A new company wants to make it easier to find the perfect present. Giftly allows the thoughtful giver to customize a gift card that can be used at any retailer nationwide, sent electronically via email or posted via Facebook wall.

Giftlys sent online can be redeemed by the recipient at  where the gifted amount can be applied to a registered credit card, debit card, or PayPal account. The card works just like any other gift card, and multiple Giftlys can be stored on one card. Registration at Giftly’s website also guarantees that balances on lost cards can be transferred to a new card, and the gift card never expires.
