Kohl’s (NYSE:KSS) stores and Kohls.com is dedicating a portion of its sales to support women’s health. The company just rolled out a 15-item exclusive collection of Simply Vera by Vera Wang, with items priced at $5 to $10 a piece, for its Kohl’s Cares campaign. 100% of the proceeds will go to support breast cancer research, following Kohl’s pledge earlier this year to commit $7 million over three years to the American Cancer Society’s Midwest Division and the Southeast Wisconsin affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The goods will be available through December 24. Check it out here.

Fashion Footwear

Summer may be drawing to a close, but that’s no excuse to tone down your workout routine. And now you have a new place to find some great get-fit gear. Supermodel and entrepreneur Heidi Klum is working with sports apparel giant New Balance to create a new line of comfortable fashions for active women. The new clothing collection, featuring pieces priced between $32 and $168, will be featured on Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) starting next month.

Running On

Runners are now able to keep better track of their time and distance, thanks to the new Nike+GPS (NYSE:NKE) app for iPhone. True, Nike and iPod have teamed up before, but this new app is even better than what you’ve previously seen. The new Nike+GPS uses the GPS and accelerometer on your iPhone, meaning you don’t have to have any special attachments for your device when you go running around town. The new app tracks your pace and your distance, as well as how many calories you burned. It also monitors your progress via Google Maps, and can tell you when you slowed down or ran faster. There’s also the PowerSongs feature, which lets you decide which playlist you want to hear while working out. You can get it now at Apple’s app store for $1.99.

This month, Redbox fans will find a promotional code on their next borrowed DVD that can be used for a free one-night rental. And don’t forget – you can also reserve Redbox rentals via your Redbox iPhone app.
