Bloomie’s Outlet

Macy’s (M) Inc. says it’s opening four upscale Bloomingdales outlet stores by this summer or fall. The locations: Bergen Town Center in Paramus, NJ, Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, VA, Dolphin Mall in Miami, FL , and Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, FL. Each store will be approximately 25,000 square feet, and carry apparel and accessories for men, women and children. More locations are expected to pop up nationwide in 2011.



Nokia Navigation

Nokia (NOK) is now a offering free, turn-by-turn navigation tool on its Ovi Maps program. Nokia says the new feature provides audible directions for walking and driving in 74 countries in 46 languages. You can also access traffic data and detailed maps for a number of countries. 

According to Nokia, the N97 mini, the E72, the 5800 XpressMusic, and 7 other Nokia smartphone models support this new version, which can be downloaded from Nokia’s website, nokia.com. And if you’re in the market to buy a new one, the latest Ovi Maps program will be pre-installed on all new phones in March.

Small businesses looking to jazz up their Web sites have a free online resource. For five years, Simple Station has designed sites for non-profits and small businesses.

Kodak (EK) has a new camera that puts all your favorite photos right at your fingertips. It’s called the “Slice” and it can hold up to 5,000 pictures at a time. From the Slice’s 3.5 inch touch screen, you can search through your photos according to person, using its facial recognition function, or by user-assigned tags. You can share all or just one of your photos instantly via Facebook, YouTube, and email. Slice specs include a 5x zoom feature and 720p video. The Slice isn’t available until April, and it carries a retail price of $349.95.
