Normally on my TV show, we focus on big assaults on Freedom, like the $14 Trillion Debt; the crippling rules that politicians pass; the authoritarian laws. But on this week's show (Thursday on FBN @ 10pm ET) I'll also take a look at the little things, like the government's assault on the incandescent light bulb, on shower heads that give good showers, on top-loading washing machines that got your clothes clean, and on toilets that actually flush what they’re supposed to flush.
Last week, I was delighted to see Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) actually confront the Energy Department's Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency about some of that.
Good for Senator Paul.
On my show, Jeff Tucker, editor of Mises.org and author of "Bourbon for Breakfast", will talk about the many small and petty ways that government intrudes on our lives.
