If you’re one of the dwindling number of people still reading the New York Times, you may have seen a desperate call for attention on its blog by Scott James, whose feathers were apparently ruffled because I didn’t include his name in a blog post I wrote months ago. I’m not clear why he’s upset. I linked, in a different color, to his articles. Each quote is indented to indicate it is a quote. But as I promised you Scott, here’s a rerun of my blog post with your name mentioned twice!
I do find it curious that a New York Times story titled, “The Brave Online World of Linking, Borrowing and Attributing (Or Not)” did not include any mention of this incident involving Maureen Dowd.
