SAN FRANCISCO – Paulson & Co. Inc., run by billionaire hedge fund manager John Paulson, kept its holdings in the SPDR Gold Trust for the quarter ended in December unchanged at 10.2 million shares, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing late Friday. The investment firm had also held onto its share stake in the exchange-traded fund at the end of the third quarter. Friday's filing also showed that Paulson & Co. sold off its holdings in Alpha Natural Resources Inc. and Citigroup Inc. . It cut its holdings in Family Dollar Stores Inc. but added to its Time Warner Cable Inc. stake. It kept its holdings in Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp. , Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. , and T-Mobile U.S. Inc. unchanged from the third quarter.
