SAN FRANCISCO – Technology stocks were mostly higher Wednesday morning, as Apple Inc. shares climbed nearly 2% on Chief Executive Tim Cook's comments from China on the company's plan to expand its alliance with China Mobile. The sector also got a lift from shares of Facebook Inc. , Microsoft Corp. and Google Inc. . On the downside, ExOne Co. stock fell more than 9% after the 3-D printing company cut its revenue outlook. Another 3-D printer maker, Stratasys had also put out a mixed outlook. The stock was volatile Wednesday, last up a fraction. But 3-D Systems Corp. was down nearly 3% as the warnings appeared to highlight demand worries in the space. The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 0.5% to 4,205, while the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index was up 0.6%.
