SAN FRANCISCO – Tech stocks started the week on a glum note Monday, as the sector retreated along with the broader market. Decliners included Facebook Inc. , which shed 25 cents a share to slip to $50.78 after Raymond James analyst Aaron Kessler trimmed his rating on the stock to outperform from strong buy. Losses also came from Microsoft Corp. , Hewlett-Packard Co. , Pandora Media Inc. and Amazon.com Inc. . The Nasdaq Composite Index fell more than 30 points to 3,777.
