SAN FRANCISCO – Adobe Systems on Tuesday reported a fiscal first quarter profit of $65.1 million, or 13 cents a share, compared with a profit of $185.2 million, or 37 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Revenue slipped to $1.01 billion from $1.05 billion. Adjusted profit was 35 cents a share. Analysts polled by FactSet on average were expecting the company to post a profit of 31 cents a share, on revenue of $985.2 million. Shares of Adobe were 6% in after-hours trading.
