Coca-Cola (ZEP) fell 1.8% to close at $29.40, moving closer to its 50-day moving average of $29.00. Also, the stock moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $14.58.
Diamond Foods (DMND) was a major loser in the sector. Its price dropped 4.3% (-88 cents) to close at $19.49, as 221,750 shares moved. The stock traded in a range of $19.40 to $20.41. Shares have been on on the rise over the past month, climbing $3.26 (20.1%) from a price of $16.23 on August 1, 2012.
