Jos. A. Bank Clothiers (JOSB) was a significant gainer in the sector, rising 14%. The stock closed at $47.44 with 4.3 million shares moving. The stock traded in a range of $47.29 to $49.48. Shares price has risen $5.49 (13.1%) from $41.95 on August 22, 2012.

TAL Education Group (XRS) was a major loser in the sector. Its price dropped 13.1% (-$1.10) to close at $7.30, as 425,440 shares moved. The stock traded in a range of $6.97 to $8.30. Over the last three months, the stock has lost $3.27 (-30.9%) from a price of $10.57 on June 4, 2012.

Iron Mountain Incorporated (IRM) rose 2.7% to close at $33, cross its 50-day moving average of $32.60 and 200-day moving average of $31.20.

Family Dollar Stores (FDO) rose 3.2% to close at $63.50, approaching its 50-day moving average of $65.32. It has also moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $64.44. JC Penney (JCP) rose 3.7% to close at $26.23, getting closer to its 200-day moving average or $28.49.

Francesca's Holdings (FRAN) hit a new 52-week high today, reaching $36.84 to top the previous high of $36.11.
