The Financial sector (XLF) showed little movement while the S&P 500 gained 0.7% during trading today.

Atlantic Coast Federal Corporation (ACFC) was one of the sector's big losers, as its price dropped 13.7% (-33 cents) to close at $2.08. 4,000 shares of the stock moved. The stock traded between $2.05 and $2.10.

Epoch (EPHC) was a significant gainer in the sector, rising 7.2%. The stock closed at $22.74 with 55,698 shares moving. The stock traded in a range of $20.85 to $22.88. The stock has been going in a negative direction over the last month, dropping $1.76 (-7.2%) from a price of $24.50 on July 18, 2012. Similarly, Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A (ASPS) gained today, increasing $4.62 (+5.5%) to close at $89.31.

Deutsche Bank (DB) rose 4% to close at $32.01, cross its 50-day moving average of $31.65 and 200-day moving average of $38.22. Net one UEPS Technologies (UEPS) declined 3.8% to close at $8.34, moving below its 50-day moving average of $8.35 and 200-day moving average of $8.72.

Credicorp (BAP) rose 1.5% to close at $114.10, approaching its 50-day moving average of $118.16. It has also moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $121.56.

Meta Financial Group (CASH) hit a new 52-week high today, reaching $24 to top the previous high of $23.50.

Direxion Daily Large Cap Bear 3X Shares (SPXS) hit a new 52-week low today, hitting $18.32 to fall below the previous low of $18.64.
