The Transportation sector (IYT) held steady during a trading day that saw the S&P 500 grow 0.1%.

Swift Transportation Company (SWFT) rose 4.1% to close at $8.64, crossing its 50-day moving average of $8.49. Meanwhile, Nordic American Tanker Shipping (NAT) dropped 2% to close at $12.64, moving below its 200-day moving average or $13.39.
Con Way (CNW) rose 2.3% to close at $30.90, approaching its 50-day moving average of $33.29. It has also moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $32.94.
Knightsbridge Tankers (VLCCF) hit a new 52-week low today, hitting $7.71 to fall below the previous low of $7.77.
