Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) was a major loser in the sector, falling 7.9% (-43 cents) to close at $5.04 with 921,537 shares moving. The stock traded in a range of $4.96 to $5.29. The share price has dropped 97 cents (-16.1%) from $6.01 on July 5, 2012.

Flowserve (FLS) hit a new 52-week high today, reaching $124.25 to top the previous high of $123.09.
