During trading today, both the Transportation sector (IYT) and the S&P500 showed little movement.
While being down today, the ETF, as a proxy for sector performance, tracked closer to the overall market today than over the past month. Entering today's trading, IYT was up 0.6% over the last thirty trading days while the S&P 500 was down 4.4%.
Overseas Shipholding Group (OSG) was one of the sector's big losers, as its price dropped 10.8% (-71 cents) to close at $5.88. 1.2 million shares of the stock moved. The stock traded between $5.69 and $6.59.

Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (ASR) hit a new 52-week high today, reaching $91.83 to top the previous high of $89.82.
