NetSuite (N) was a major gainer in the sector, rising 15.2% (+$7.53) to close at $56.95 with 2.4 million shares moving. The stock traded in a range of $54.31 to $58.56. Share price is up, having risen $3.29 (6.1%) from $53.66 on June 27, 2012. ACI Worldwide (ACIW) and Anixter International (AXE) also gained for the sector today.

Socket Mobile (SCKT) was a major loser in the sector, falling 12.7% (-21 cents) to close at $1.44 with 12,173 shares moving. The stock traded between $1.43 and $1.61.

SPS Commerce (SPSC) rose 12% to close at $32.28, crossing its 50-day moving average of $29.67. Meanwhile, CA (CA) dropped 7.2% to close at $24.43, moving below its 200-day moving average or $25.62.

Internet Initiative Japan (MANH) fell 3.9% to close at $10.40, moving closer to its 50-day moving average of $10.25. Also, the stock moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $45.82. Salesforce.com (CRM) rose 5.5% to close at $131.49, approaching its 50-day moving average of $133.24. It has also moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $136.81.

QLogic Corporation (QLGC) hit a new 52-week low today, hitting $9.56 to fall below the previous low of $11.95.
