Capital Goods Sector Wrap

On a trading day that saw the S&P 500 gain 1.8%, the Capital Goods sector (XLI) showed little change.

India Globalization Capital (IGC) was one of the sector's big losers, as its price dropped 13% (-3 cents) to close at 20 cents. 135,327 shares of the stock moved. The stock traded between 20 cents and 23 cents.

Donaldson Company (DCI) rose 6.5% to close at $35.45, cross its 50-day moving average of $33.41 and 200-day moving average of $46.37.

Tennant Company (TNC) rose 5.7% to close at $39.07, approaching its 50-day moving average of $39.53. It has also moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $41.40. Standard Pacific (GRC) fell 4.9% to close at $6.02, moving closer to its 50-day moving average of $5.89. Also, the stock moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $29.23.

Lindsay Corporation (LNN) hit a new 52-week high today, reaching $74.40 to top the previous high of $72.98.
