American Lorain Corporation (ALN) rose 1.9% to close at $1.09, approaching its 50-day moving average of $1.14. It has also moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $1.29. Seneca Foods (ODC) fell 3.4% to close at $26.61, moving closer to its 50-day moving average of $26.12. Also, the stock moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $20.61.

Increasing 5.7% (+15 cents) to close at $2.76, Jamba (JMBA) was a major gainer in the sector. Today, 1.1 million shares traded hands. The stock traded in a range of $2.56 to $2.80.

Calavo Growers (CVGW) was a major loser in the sector, falling 4.6% (-$1.23) to close at $25.77 with 50,231 shares moving. The stock traded between $25.74 and $26.91. The stock has been on a downward trajectory over the last two months, dropping $2.64 (-9.3%) from a price of $28.41 on May 23, 2012.

B&G Foods (BGS) hit a new 52-week high today, reaching $28.24 to top the previous high of $27.54.
