Consumer Cyclical Sector Wrap

During trading today, both the Consumer Cyclical sector (XLY) and the S&P500 showed little movement.

P & F Industries (PFIN) was a major gainer in the sector, rising 8.3% (+43 cents) to close at $5.62 with 31,767 shares moving. The stock traded in a range of $5.32 to $5.75. Cybex International (CYBI) also gained today, climbing 13 cents (+7.9%) to close at $1.71.

Crocs (CROX) was one of the sector's big losers, as its price dropped 7.1% (-$1.14) to close at $14.86. 3.5 million shares of the stock moved. The stock traded between $14.81 and $15.89. The stock has lost momentum over the last three months, losing $5.14 (-25.7%) from $20 on April 11, 2012.

PVH (PVH) declined 2.6% to close at $77.59, moving below its 50-day moving average of $79.22 and 200-day moving average of $80.75.

Tata Motors (TTM) rose 1.1% to close at $21.88, approaching its 50-day moving average of $22.31. It has also moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $24.03. HONDA MOTOR CO. (ICON) fell 2.3% to close at $32.98, moving closer to its 50-day moving average of $32.79. Also, the stock moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $16.92.

Visteon Corporation (VC) hit a new 52-week low today, hitting $34.93 to fall below the previous low of $35.62.
