During trading today, the S&P 500 dropped 0.2%, and the Services sector (IYC) showed little change.
Although it went in the opposite direction of the market today, the ETF tracked closer to the overall market today than over the past month. Entering today's trading, IYC was down 4.3% over the last thirty trading days while the S&P 500 was down 6.6%.
Lumos Networks (LMOS) was a major gainer in the sector, rising 11.2% (+$1.03) to close at $10.25 with 327,661 shares moving. The stock traded in a range of $8.88 to $10.35.
Higher One Holdings (ONE) was a major loser in the sector, falling 10.4% (-$1.47) to close at $12.71 with 706,930 shares moving. The stock traded between $12.56 and $14.27. Over the last three months, the stock has lost $2.55 (-16.7%) from a price of $15.26 on March 5, 2012.
Zumiez (ZUMZ) rose 5.8% to close at $36.79, crossing its 50-day moving average of $35.63.

Gaylord Entertainment Company (GET) hit a new 52-week high today, reaching $39 to top the previous high of $35.89.
