Synacor (SYNC) was a major gainer in the sector, rising 9.5% (+97 cents) to close at $11.21 with 697,290 shares moving. The stock traded in a range of $9.70 to $11.25. Similarly, Ancestry.com (ACOM) gained today, increasing $1.29 (+5.9%) to close at $23.11.

VOXX International (VOXX) was a major loser in the sector. Its price dropped 6.1% (-71 cents) to close at $10.99, as 311,260 shares moved. The stock traded between $10.80 and $11.65.

Generac Holdings (GNRC) declined 3.6% to close at $25.17, moving below its 50-day moving average of $25.00 and 200-day moving average of $25.44. NetSuite (N) rose 3.7% to close at $46.75, crossing its 50-day moving average of $45.61.

Avago Technologies (AVGO) rose 7.2% to close at $33.52, approaching its 50-day moving average of $33.77. It has also moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $33.96. Verint Systems (VRNT) fell 2.4% to close at $29.43, moving down to 1.7% above its 200-day moving average of $28.94.

Stratasys (SSYS) hit a new 52-week high today, reaching $54.96 to top the previous high of $53.39.

Brightcove (BCOV) hit a new 52-week low today, hitting $12.38 to fall below the previous low of $13.36.
