Increasing 9.7% (+$1.15) to close at $12.95, Patrick Industries (PATK) was a major gainer in the sector. Today, 180,658 shares traded hands. The stock traded in a range of $11.86 to $13.44.
Key Technology (KTEC) was a major loser in the sector. Its price dropped 7.8% (-92 cents) to close at $10.86, as 18,227 shares moved. The stock traded in a range of $10.80 to $11.75. The stock has fallen over the last three months, dropping $2.79 (-20.4%) from $13.65 on February 24, 2012.
Nordson Corporation (NDSN) rose 8.7% to close at $53.28, cross its 50-day moving average of $52.20 and 200-day moving average of $49.27. Argan (AGX) declined 5.2% to close at $14.02, moving below its 50-day moving average of $14.79 and 200-day moving average of $14.45.
Donaldson Company (DCI) rose 3.4% to close at $35.69, approaching its 50-day moving average of $36.19. It has also moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $56.82. Tennant Company (TNC) fell 3% to close at $42.07, moving down to 1.1% above its 200-day moving average of $41.62.
Meritage Homes Corporation (MTH) hit a new 52-week high today, reaching $30 to top the previous high of $29.73.
