The Services sector (IYC) held steady during a trading day that saw the S&P 500 grow 0.1%.
The ETF, as a proxy for the sector, tracked closer to the overall market today than over the past month. Entering today's trading, IYC was up 0.1% over the last thirty trading days while the S&P 500 climbed -1.9%.
Petmed Express (PETS) declined 19.5% to close at $11.07, moving below its 50-day moving average of $12.82 and 200-day moving average of $11.42. KT Corporation (KT) rose 7.7% to close at $13.50, cross its 50-day moving average of $13.44 and 200-day moving average of $14.77.
PriceSmart (ACN) fell 6.1% to close at $76.51, moving closer to its 50-day moving average of $76.21. Also, the stock moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $59.06.
TravelCenters of America (TA) was one of the sector's big losers, as its price dropped 15.4% (-94 cents) to close at $5.16. 1.1 million shares of the stock moved. The stock traded between $4.93 and $5.70. Shares are down, having dropped $1.14 (-18.1%) from a price of $6.30 on April 30, 2012.
