Services Sector Wrap

During trading today, the Services sector (IYC) showed little change while the S&P 500 fell 0.8%.

While being down today, the ETF, as a proxy for sector performance, tracked closer to the overall market today than over the past month. Entering today's trading, IYC was up 1.2% over the last thirty trading days while the S&P 500 was down 1.4%.

ValueClick (VCLK) fell 22.2% to close at $16.80, crossing its 50-day moving average of $20.62. Meanwhile, Atlantic Tele-Network (ATNI) climbed 18.1% to close at $39.71, moving past its 200-day moving average of $36.81.

Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (RBA) rose 3.2% to close at $21.76, approaching its 50-day moving average of $22.09. It has also moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $22.16. NetGear (LAMR) fell 4.6% to close at $37.21, moving closer to its 50-day moving average of $36.90. Also, the stock moved closer to its 200-day moving average of $28.14.

Caribou Coffee Company (CBOU) was a major loser in the sector. Its price dropped 15.2% (-$2.50) to close at $13.99, as 1.7 million shares moved. The stock traded between $13.90 and $15.95. Over the last month, the share price has dropped $4.19 (-23%) from $18.18 on April 3, 2012.

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) was a significant gainer in the sector, rising 13.5%. The stock closed at $8.90 with one million shares moving. The stock traded in a range of $8.16 to $8.91. The stock has seen some positive movement recently as shares are up $1 (12.7%) from a price of $7.90 on April 26, 2012.

Liquidity Services (LQDT) hit a new 52-week high today, reaching $64.39 to top the previous high of $56.41.

Delhaize Group (DEG) hit a new 52-week low today, hitting $41.66 to fall below the previous low of $46.90.
