Stock futures were pointing to a marginally higher opening as traders digest the results of the midterm elections and after a better-than-expected ADP private sector employment report that showed 43,000 jobs were added in October.

Fushi Copperweld Inc (NASDAQ: FSIN)
The wire product manufacturer announced it had received a going-private offer from COE Li Fu and Abax Global Capital for $11.50 per share. Shares were trading 20.1% higher in pre-market trading.
OpenTable Inc (NASDAQ: OPEN)
Shares of the online restaurant reservation system provider were up 17.2% in pre-market trading Wednesday after releasing third-quarter results which beat expectations. The company reported earnings of 23 cents per share while analysts had estimated 15 cents per share.
Magic Software Enterprises (NASDAQ: MGIC)
The business software company reported third-quarter results of eight cents per share. Revenue rose 66% from the same period last year to $22.4 million. Shares were up 15.5% in pre-market trading.
AVI BioPharma, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVII)
The biopharmaceutical company was granted $1.2 million in cash grants under the Government’s Qualifying Therapeutic Discovery project. Shares gained 7.2% in pre-market trading.
Garmin Ltd (NASDAQ: GRMN)
Shares of the navigation and information device company were down 7.9% in pre-market trading despite reporting earnings of $1.43 per share which beat third-quarter estimates 75 cents per share but cut its 2010 guidance below current expectations.
EOG Resources Inc (NYSE: EOG)
The natural gas and oil company posted third-quarter results reporting non-GAAP earnings of 18 cents per share matching analyst estimates. GAAP earnings came in as a loss of 28 cents per share after certain write downs and the company cut its 2010 production forecast. Shares were 6.8% lower in pre-market trading.
