Stock futures were pointing to a higher opening after a better-than-expected initial jobless claims number of 434,000.
Here are some of the early market movers for Thursday.
Las Vegas Sands Corp (NYSE: LVS)
The casino operator beat the Street reporting third-quarter adjusted earnings of 34 cents per share on revenue of $1.91 billion. Analysts had estimated earnings of 23 cents per share and revenue of $1.79 billion.
Shares jumped 11.3% in pre-market trading.
Mellanox Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: MLNX)
Shares of the company gained 9.6% in pre-market trading Thursday after Oracle acquired a 10.2% stake in the semiconductor company.
GTSI Corp. (NASDAQ:GTSI)
The IT product company announced it has been selected by the FBI for an eight-year technology supply contract worth up to $30 billion. Shares were up 9.6% in pre-market trading.
Flextronics International Ltd (NASDAQ: FLEX)
The electronics manufacturing services company posted second-quarter results beating estimates with adjusted earnings of 23 cents per share on revenue of $7.4 billion. Analysts had been expecting earnings of 20 cents per share and revenue of $7.01 billion.
Shares were up 9.4% in pre-market trading.
Sourcefire Incorporated (NASDAQ: FIRE)
The cybersecurity company beat third-quarter estimates reporting adjusted earnings of 18 cents per share while analysts had estimated 15 cents per share. The stock was down 18.5% in pre-market trading however as the company’s full year earnings guidance was below current expectations.
Oclaro Incorporated (NASDAQ: OCLR)
Shares of the telecommunications component manufacturer sank 18% in pre-market trading after releasing second-quarter results below expectations. The company reported earnings of one cents per share on revenue of $121.3 million while analysts had estimated earnings of 22 cents per share and revenue of $123.3 million.
